This wooden panel rests within grooves on the sides of the home, and can sit at the bottom of the roost to protect eggs and nestlings during maintenance. At the end of the season, or if you opt not to house owls, slide the panel upward and use the included wooden tabs to keep it in place, blocking the entry hole. Three predrilled holes at the top of the home enable you to securely mount it to a post or tree.
